There are several beautiful sand beaches with bath and changing rooms. On at least one beach there is an area that you can drive on with a permit. I saw several campers parked on the beach. We saw some seals frolicking in the water but no great white sharks.

Even in the winter this is a neat place to check out. We made stops at Fort Hill, Salt Pond Visitor center, Nauset Light, Marconi site, and Highland Lighthouse. The weather was cold and wet, but worth it.
