It's a clean and large beach. There are restrooms and changing stations near the parking. There are a lot of shells but not so many that it hurts to walk in the sand. It is windy. I would recommend a hoody or sweatshirt. Sometimes there's a good bit of seaweed washed up.
Pretty nice beach but if you are looking for clearer waters. Stick to the bay side.
