We went today Aug 26, in a 2 hr window caught 2 good sized crabs we let go when we left. It used to be a great place to have the kids have fun, but not any more. This place has been ruined, and there are not as many crabs as before, kids get disappointed and no fun. Very narrow pathways to walk. Pet-friendly area but do be mindful of ticks and other parasites. On the side of the road so do be careful with small children and pets walking around. Limited parking area. Very popular area for crabbing. 08/2024
It was pretty & relaxing, but we only caught 2 crabs of legal size in the several hours we were there. It wasn't even crowded. Ended up letting them go since it wasn't enough for a meal. Maybe our timing was bad.
