Beautiful place, very peaceful.nNice breeze from the ocean, across the marsh.nExcellent spot to walk your dog.
A beautiful, serene location to enjoy gently touched lands. The trail goes far enough from the road you don't hear the cars. Bring a chair and enjoy the salt marshes at the mid-point of the trail. Remember to clean up after yourself, and leave the trail better than you found it.
Easy to get to, right off of Route 6A. Small parking lot. The trail is relatively short, 1 mile round trip. The trail is flat and easy to navigate.nThe end of the trail is a nice view of the saltwater march adjacent to Scorton Creek.. After a rain, the trails and parking lot stay muddy for days.
Love this place! Great place to get away from town life and get back to nature a little bit. There are a lot of different trails to explore and can actually get a decent walk in for the day. Not the longest trail I have been on but not the shortest either, just a happy medium.
Really beautiful, excited to see the Kingfisher I could hear , went around a corner, almost ran into a very large grey coyote. Yikes. My dog was leashed thank goodness, just be aware, plus there can be deer hunters in the late fall early winter season.
