Beautiful lands. Great walking trails. Well marked

Great place to walk through woods and along ponds. The trails take you along wetland areas and along ridges with high vantage points. A favorite place for dog walking.

Love the beach and the trails. Many of people walking their dogs without leashes. If you plan to walk your dogs around, be mentally prepared.

I have been hiking at Ryder since 1979, great area to walk the dog. Caution, hunting for deer during shot gun season I believe is still allowed. Suggest hiking in the Lowell Holly reservation where hunting is not.
